Directed by Dahye Kim

Dahye Kim is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Art at Ball State University, Indiana. Kim

received her Doctoral Degree in Art and Art Education at Columbia University in New York City, Master of Fine Arts at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, and bachelor’s degree at The University of California. Her recent digital work questions the relationship between our daily tasks and perceived reality in the Computer Age, juxtaposing the soundtracks and computer graphics/pixels -- evoking subjective, transformative sequencing of feelings from a wide array of sources including the Internet, digital devices, pop culture, and music. Along with her practice, her pedagogical interests include new ways of visual art teaching with the collaboration of fine art, design, and technology. She has presented her research and curricula at national conferences such as FATE, CAA, and AERI.
